Carlos Rodon took the loss, falling to 6-3 on the year after allowing three runs on five hits while striking out eight over five innings of work. I get the case that could be made for Seattle here as the Mariners have looked really good offensively at times in the last few games, but if I’ve learned one thing about the Seattle Mariners, it’s that more often than not, the offense is not sustainable for long. Lance Lynn had a rare bad start last time out, but I look for him to get back on track against the soft-hitting Mariners. Give me the White Sox -1.5 here.
