The Cleveland Indians and the Oakland A’s meet in MLB action from the RingCentral Coliseum on Saturday.

The Cleveland Indians will look to rebound after a 5-4 loss at the hands of the A’s on Friday. Roberto Perez and Bradley Zimmer each had a solo home run while Franmil Reyes and Harold Ramirez each had an RBI as well to finish off the scoring for the Indians in the loss. Amed Rosario went 2 for 4 with a double while Jose Ramirez added a base hit as well to finish off Cleveland’s offense as a team in the defeat. Eli Morgan allowed three runs on seven hits while striking out six over five innings of work, not factoring in the decision. Emmanuel Clase took the loss, falling to 3-5 on the year in relief. Cal Quantrill will start here and is 1-2 with a 4.23 ERA and 43 strikeouts this season. This will be Quantrill’s first career start against the A’s.

The Oakland A’s will attempt to build on their win over the Indians from Friday night. Jed Lowrie had three RBIs including the walk-off two-run home run while Mitch Moreland had a solo home run and Matt Olson went 3 for 5 with a pair of doubles and an RBI to cap off the scoring for Oakland in the victory. Sean Murphy had a double while Elvis Andrus had three hits and Tony Kemp added a base hit as well to finish off the A’s offense in the winning effort. Sean Manaea gave up three runs on seven hits while striking out seven, not factoring in the decision. Sergio Romo got the win in relief to improve to 1-0 on the year in relief. Frankie Montas will start here and is 8-7 with a 4.41 ERA and 105 strikeouts this season. in his career, Montas is 1-1 with a 2.82 ERA and 25 strikeouts against the Indians.

Cleveland is 3-9 in their last 12 games overall and 1-6 in their last 7 game two matchups while the over is 22-5-2 in their last 29 games against a left-handed starter. Oakland is 10-3 in their last 13 game two matchups and 18-8 in their last 26 games as a favorite while the over is 5-0 in their last 5 Saturday games.

This is a tough one to call, but I’m still going to go back to the well with Oakland here. Quantrill hasn’t been the easiest arm to trust and Oakland stole all of the momentum by walking off the Tribe on Friday. I’m not a huge fan of the price, but it is what it is. Give me the A’s here.
