The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Colorado Rockies meet in an NL West division matchup in MLB action from Coors Field on Sunday.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will look to build on their 9-2 win over the Rockies from Saturday. Max Muncy led the charge with a pair of home runs and five RBIs while A.J. Pollock had a solo home run. Justin Turner had a double and two RBIs and Mookie Betts added three doubles with an RBI to make up the scoring for the Dodgers in the winning effort. Albert Pujols chipped in a base hit as well to finish off L.A.’s offense in the win. Walker Buehler got the win to improve to 10-1 on the year after allowing two earned runs on four hits while striking out eight over seven innings of work. David Price will start here and is 4-0 with a 3.23 ERA and 31 strikeouts this season. in his career, Price is 1-2 with a 5.18 ERA and 22 strikeouts against Colorado.

The Colorado Rockies will attempt to rebund from a frustrating outing against the Dodgers on Saturday. Ryan McMahon had a double and an RBI and Kyle Freeland added an RBI as well to finish off the scoring for the Rockies in the loss. Sam Hilliard added a double as well while Brendan Rodgers and Charlie Blackmon each had base hits as well to finish off Colorado’s offense as the Rockies had just four hits as a team in the win with the rest of the team batting 0 for 16 with 7 strikeouts. Kyle Freeland took the loss, falling to 1-4 after allowing three runs on six hits with four strikeouts over six innings of work. Jon Gray will start here and is 6-6 with a 3.77 ERA and 80 strikeouts this season. In his career, Gray is 5-7 with a 4.55 ERA and 87 strikeouts against the Dodgers.

Los Angeles is 41-14 in their last 55 Sunday games and 40-16 in their last 56 games as a favorite while the over is 4-1-1 in their last 6 games against a team with a losing record. Colorado is 18-7 in their last 25 home games and 9-4 in their last 13 division games while the under is 7-1 in their last 8 Sunday games.

I get why the Dodgers would be favored here as they’re the Dodgers and they’ve been the better team in the first two games of the set. The issue is that I’m not sure what to make of David Price. On the other side, Jon Gray’s pitched well this season and the Rockies offense hasn’t been dominant behind him, so I’m going to side with the under as I’m not about to lay this many runs simply because the game is at Coors Field.
