The Colorado Rockies and the Los Angeles Dodgers meet Sunday in MLB action from Dodger Stadium. This will be the final installment in a three-game weekend set. In the series opener Friday, the Rockies notched a two-run win. On Saturday in game two, LA struck back with a three-run victory. Check back all season long for free MLB picks at Sports Chat Place.

Colorado posted a pair of runs in the top of the first on Friday, hanging on for a 4-2 victory. In the Saturday game, the Rockies had just three hits in a 5-2 defeat. Starter Jon Gray put up 2.0 innings with one earned on three walks and two hits.

Starting pitcher for the Rockies on Sunday will be Antonio Senzatela. Over his 118.0 innings this year Senzatela has 138 hits, 65 runs (58 earned), nine homers allowed, 26 walks, 82 Ks and a 4.42 ERA.

Over on the Dodgers’ side, they posted two runs in the third and six team hits during the Friday game one loss. In the Saturday game, the Dodgers had three runs in the eighth inning to secure the victory. David Price gave up two earned on two hits and two walks in 3.2 frames.

For Sunday’s game, the Dodgers will send out Mitch White as the starter. This year White is 1-1 with a 3.06 ERA and 35 strikeouts.

The Rockies are 6-1 in their last seven in game three of a series and 17-42 in their last 59 with a total of 7.0-8.5. Colorado is 16-48 in their last 64 road games and the under is 10-4 in their last 14 Sunday games.

Meanwhile, the Dodgers are 45-16 in their last 61 Sunday games and 126-54 in their last 180 home games. LA is 101-42 in their last 143 versus a team with a losing record and the over is 4-0 in their last four Sunday games.

PICK: I’m going to take a stab on the Rockies. Senzatela has been doing pretty well lately, posting three or fewer earned runs in seven of his last eight outings. In his last trio, Senzatela has six earned runs on 20 hits and four walks in 19.0 innings of work. If Senzatela can muster a quality outing in this one (and Colorado can get the bats moving), I think the Rockies have a good shot at a W in this finale.
