The Atlanta Braves and the San Diego Padres meet in MLB action from Petco Park on Saturday night.

The Atlanta Braves will look to keep their momentum going and take one step closer to the NL East division title. Freddie Freeman leads Atlanta with a .302 batting average, a .392 OBP and 172 hits while Ozzie Albies has a team-high 6 triples, 36 doubles and 101 RBIs. Austin Riley leads the Braves in the power department with 32 home runs while Freeman has 31 homers and Albies has 30 dingers this season. Dansby Swanson also has 31 doubles, 26 home runs and 83 RBIs this season. Huascar Ynoa will start here and is 4-5 with a 3.43 ERA and 88 strikeouts this season.

The San Diego Padres will look to keep their slimmest of playoff hopes alive with a win on Saturday. Manny Machado leads the Padres with 151 hits and 96 RBIs while Fernando Tatis Jr. has a team-best .285 batting average, a .370 OBP and 40 home runs while Machado has a team-high 31 doubles. Jake Cronenworth leads San Diego with 30 doubles this season while Tatis Jr. ahs a team-high 136 strikeouts this season. The Padres did not have a starting pitcher announced at the time that this article was published.

Atlanta is 0-4 in their last 4 Saturday games and 1-5 in their last 6 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 9-1-1 in their last 11 game two matchups. San Diego is 1-5 in their last 6 games overall and 3-7 in their last 10 home games against a team with a winning record while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 games against a right-handed starter.

I’m not the biggest Huascar Ynoa fan in the world, but there’s no denying that he’s got a solid Braves lineup behind him that’s playing really well for having lost their star in Ronald Acuna Jr. a few months back. San Diego is watching their playoff hopes fade day-by-day and I just don’t have much faith that the Padres can regroup here. This is one of those things where if it’s not broken, don’t ry to fix it. Give me the Braves here.
