The San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies meet Sunday in MLB action from Coors Field. This will be the final installment in a three-game weekend series. San Francisco struck first with a five-run win on Friday. In the Saturday matchup, the Giants did it again with another five-run victory. San Francisco posted four runs in the seventh inning on Friday, eventually powering out a 7-2 win. On Saturday the Giants put up another 7-2 victory with three runs in both the fifth and eighth innings. Starter Anthony DeSclafani put up 4.0 innings with two earned on five hits and a walk.

For the Sunday starter job, the Giants will send out Kevin Gausman. Over his 179.0 innings this year Gausman has 141 hits, 64 runs (58 earned), 19 homers allowed, 49 walks, 211 Ks and a 2.92 ERA.

Over on the Rockies’ side, they had the Friday game locked at 2-2 heading into the sixth but couldn’t keep up from there. On Saturday Colorado had 11 team hits in the defeat. Jon Gray lasted 4.2 innings with five hits and four earned in the start.

Starting pitcher for the Rockies on Sunday will be Antonio Senzatela. In 150.0 innings this season Senzatela has 164 hits with 76 runs (69 earned), 12 homers, 29 walks, 103 Ks and a 4.14 ERA.

The Giants are 7-2 in their last nine Sunday games and 42-16 in their last 58 road games. San Francisco is 36-15 in their last 51 overall and 38-13 in their last 51 versus a right-handed starter.

Meanwhile, the Rockies are 0-4 in their last four in game three of a series and 21-48 in their last 69 versus a team with a winning percentage above .600. The under is 3-0-1 in Colorado’s last four Sunday games as well.

PICK: I’m going to try the Rockies. Both starters could use a good showing here, though. Senzatela is coming off four earned on seven hits in 6.0 innings versus the Dodgers. As for Gausman, he’s given up eight earned over his last two starts with four homers and 17 hits in 9.0 innings. I think we’ll probably get a decent outing from both guys here, but I like Colorado to power out a win behind Senzatela.
