The Atlanta Braves and the Houston Astros meet in game six of the World Series in MLB action from Minute Maid Park on Tuesday night.

The Atlanta Braves will look to close out the World Series and win their first title since 1995 after dropping game five last time out by a final score of 9-5. All of Atlanta’s damage on the scoreboard came from home runs as Adam Duvall had a first inning grand slam and Freddie Freeman had a solo homer in the 3rd. Austin Riley added three hits with a double while Travis d’Arnaud had a pair of hits and Jorge Soler had a base hit as well to cap off the offense for the Braves in the loss. Tucker Davidson allowed two runs on two hits in the start, not factoring in the decision. A.J. Minter took the loss in relief, falling to 1-1 on the year as a result. Max Fried will start here and is 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA and 23 strikeouts this postseason.

The Houston Astros will look to force a game seven and stay alive after their win in game five last time out. Martin Maldonado led the way with three RBIs while Carlos Correa had three hits with a double and two RBIs and Marwin Gonzalez added two RBIs as well in the win. Alex Bregman had a double with an RBI and Tuli Gurriel chipped in three hits with an RBI as well in the victory. Kyle Tucker added a double as well while Zack Greinke and Jose Altuve each chipped in hits as well to round out Houston’s offense as a team in the win. Framber Valdez allowed five runs on four hits over 2.2 innings of work, not factoring in the decision. Instead Jose Urquidy got his 2nd win of the postseason in relief. Luis Garcia will start here and is 1-2 with a 7.62 ERA and 18 strikeouts this postseason.

Atlanta is 22-7 in their last 29 games overall and 7-3 in their last 10 games as an underdog while the under is 7-1 in their last 8 games following an off day. Houston is 9-3 in their last 12 games overall and 8-3 in their last 11 playoff games as a favorite while the over is 7-1-1 in their last 9 games against a left-handed starter.

I’ll give you two picks here. For game six, I’ll be taking the Braves on the ML because if Houston takes game six, you might as well take them in game seven. Atlanta nearly let the Dodgers come back in that series but escaping in the NLDS and in the World Series against a Houston Astros team that’s had plenty of experience in those scenarios is not an ideal situation whatsoever. But like I said. For Tuesday’s game six, take Atlanta on the ML.
