Best MLB Parlays for 8/5/2022

Best MLB Parlays For Friday
August 5, 2022 7:00 pm EDT

Friday is here, and it’s another loaded slate of MLB games. Let’s take a look at a couple of MLB parlays to make your Friday a winning one.

Toronto Blue Jays ML -125 / New York Yankees ML -150 // $10 bet pays $20

The Twins offense has a ton of talent, but for some reason, they struggle to run up the score too often, and that’s going to happen again here. Jose Berrios goes against his old team, and he comes into this start with a ton of confidence. In Berrios last start he went seven innings giving up one run. The Blue Jays will score enough off of Tyler Mahle to get the job done here. Back the Blue Jays.

The New York Yankees haven’t been as dominant the last couple of weeks, but they are going to get back on the right track in this game. Nestor Cortes Jr has still been pitching strong and over his last two starts he has given up only two runs total. The Yankees aren’t going to need to score many runs to win this game, and they will score enough to get it done. Back the Yankees on the money line.

Chicago White Sox, Texas Rangers under 8 -110 / Colorado Rockies +115 // $10 bet pays $31.05

The Chicago White Sox and Texas Rangers are going to go under the total. When Glenn Otto starts, he usually goes five innings and gives up three runs. Dylan Cease is pitching like one of the best pitchers in baseball, and the Rangers are going to have issues scoring more than two runs this entire game. This is going to end a 4-2 or 5-2 type of game, and the under will be a profit.

On paper, this game between the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks is very close, but I think the underdog comes out ahead. Madison Bumgarner’s ERA isn’t terrible, but he seems to run into trouble in most games that he has to work out of. In two of German Marquez’s last three starts, he has been excellent. The only game he struggled was against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Rockies will give Marquez enough run support to get the job done.
