The San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics meet Saturday in MLB action at Oakland Coliseum. The San Francisco Giants look to snap a 4-game losing streak. The Oakland Athletics look for a win after winning 9 of their last 13 games.
The San Francisco Giants have scored 8 runs in their last 3 games and 3 or fewer runs in 7 of their last 11 games. The Giants have lost 9 straight games when scoring 3 or fewer runs. Wilmer Flores leads the Giants with 85 hits and 56 RBI, while Thairo Estrada and Mike Yastrzemski have combined for 149 hits and 79 RBI. Carlos Rodon gets the ball, and he is 9-6 with a 3.09 ERA and 158 strikeouts this season. Corbin is 3-1 with a 3.45 ERA and 33 strikeouts in his career against the Athletics.

The Giants are 6-2 in their last 8 Saturday games and 3-8 in their last 11 games following an off day. The Athletics are 6-1 in their last 7 home games and 9-4 in their last 13 overall. The under is 3-1-2 in Giants last 6 games following an off day. The under is 4-1 in Athletics last 5 overall. The under is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings in Oakland.
The San Francisco Giants are going to get the benefit of the doubt because they’re the better team and Carlos Rodon is an all star pitcher who has been terrific this season. However, there’s no world I’m laying these sorts of prices with a Giants team that has been terrible in the second half and pretty much played themselves out of the playoff conversation. While it means nothing in the standings, the Oakland Athletics have actually been good these last couple weeks. Only the Nationals and Angels have lost more money for bettors this season than the Giants. I’ll take a shot with the home dog.
