The Toronto Blue Jays and the Milwaukee Brewers meet in MLB action from American Family Field on Friday night.

The Toronto Blue Jays will look to build on a 9-5 win over Chicago to close out their series with the White Sox last time out. Bo Bichette leads the Blue Jays with 75 hits including 15 doubles, 11 home runs and 38 RBIs while Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has a team-high 17 home runs with 42 RBIs and George Springer has 13 home runs with 34 RBIs as well this season. Santiago Espinal has 65 hits with a team-high 18 doubles and a .267 batting average on the year. Alek Manoah will start here and is 8-2 with a 2.00 ERA and 73 strikeouts this season.

The Milwaukee Brewers will try to build on their series split with the Cardinals after a 6-4 win over St. Louis on Thursday. Rowdy Tellez has 11 home runs and 41 RBIs while Hunter Renfroe has 13 homers as well and Willy Adames also has 15 home runs. Renfroe has a .247 batting average and Adames has 36 RBIs. Christian Yelich also has 63 hits with 11 doubles and 24 RBIs this season. Adrian Houser will start here and is 4-7 with a 4.24 ERA and 54 strikeouts this season.

Toronto is 10-4 in their last 14 road games and 16-7 in their last 23 interleague games while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 series-opening games. Milwaukee is 12-5 in their last 17 series-opening games and 2-7 in their last 9 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 3-0-1 in their last 4 games overall.

I get the reasoning for being on either side in this one, but I’m looking at the under here. You have two teams with high-level pitchers here, including Toronto’s ace in Manoah and a pitcher for the Brew Crew in Houser who pitches his best ball at home. I just think this is going to end up as a lower-scoring game than the line would indicate, so give me the under here.
