Israel and the Dominican Republic face off Tuesday in the World Baseball Classic at LoanDepot Park in Miami.

Israel Betting Preview

Israel comes into this game with a 1-1 record, and this is now a must-win for them. In the first game, Israel faced off against Nicaragua, and they were able to secure a 3-1 victory. On Monday, Israel faced off against Puerto Rico, and they really struggled. The only thing on the Israel scoresheet was two errors. They finished with zero hits and zero runs. The pitching for Israel was a big issue, again giving up ten runs and 11 hits. Israel in this game is going to need to find a way to get the offense going. The pitching will need to be strong, but if the offense struggles, this is going to be a very long game.

Dominican Republic Betting Preview

On the other side of this matchup is the Dominican Republic, who currently sits with a 1-1 record. In the first game on Saturday, the Dominican Republic offense only managed one run and that led to a four loss against Venezuela. On Monday, the Dominican Republic faced off against Nicaragua, and they were able to secure a 6-1 victory. They scored six runs in the first seven innings, and they ended giving up one run in the 8th inning. Juan Soto had a big game, finishing with two hits, three RBIs, and one run. If Soto continues the hitting, the Dominican Republic will be in good shape to secure the victory.

Shane’s Free Pick

This Israel offense has been a major issue, and it’s going to be an issue again in this game. I really don’t trust this Dominican Republic team either, and they also aren’t going to run up the score. Neither team is going to reach four runs, and that means this game is going to stay under the total. Back the under to cash here.
