The United States and Japan face off on Tuesday in the Championship game at the World Baseball Classic at loanDepot Park

United States Betting Preview

The United States looks like they are getting hot at the right time, and now they are only one win away from winning the title. In the last game, the United States faced off against Cuba, and the offense scored 14 runs. The offense was a bit inconsistent early in the tournament, but it’s all clicking now. Trea Turner has been the hottest bat of the tournament, and in the last game against Cuba, he finished with three hits, four RBIs, and two runs. Paul Goldschmidt also had a huge game, finishing with two hits, two runs, and four RBIs.

Japan Betting Preview

On the other side of this matchup is Japan, who needed a walk off hit against Mexico to advance, but they are also only one win away from winning the Championship. Japan’s offense couldn’t get much going early in the game, but they scored three runs in the last three innings to secure the win. Masataka Yoshida had a strong game, finishing with three hits, three RBIs, and one run. Munetaka Murakami also had a strong game, finishing with one hit and two RBIS. In this game, Japan needs to get the offense going early, and put pressure on the United States pitching.

Shane’s Free Pick

The United States offense has been elite heading into this game, and they are going to continue the successful scoring in this game. I also don’t trust the pitching of the United States, and Japan is going to run up the score here also. There will be at least 12 or 13 runs scored, and this game is going to go over the total. It’s also a lean with the United States to win, but the stronger play is with the over.
