Through 12 games, the Padres have been one of the best teams in the league, and Vazquez has been strong through two starts, despite the nine walks through 10.2 innings.
Once Vazquez improves his control, he’ll be somebody to watch in this rotation. The jury is still out on Bido through 20 career starts, but I have little trust in the Athletics overall based on what we’ve seen lately. Give me the Padres and the cheap price.
