San Diego Padres Recap

The Padres will hope to pick up some steam and have some success in Monday’s double-header after posting a comfortable 9-1 win in Sunday’s matchup. The win meant that at worst, the Padres will get a series split from this set, a nice change after getting swept by the Colorado Rockies last week.

Braves Still Loaded But Haven’t Broken Out Yet

Going into Sunday’s finale, Marcell Ozuna leads the Braves with 49 hits including 12 home runs and 41 RBIs while Orlando Arcia has a team-high 12 doubles while Ozzie Albies has 10 doubles, logging 38 hits as well this season. Atlanta Braves vs San Diego Padres Prediction

For game one, I’m going with the under as I think that is a game with pitcher’s duel written all over it. Cease has ace-level stuff and Reynaldo Lopez has been one of the best under-the-radar stories in the 2024 season so far. For game two, I’m going Braves here Chris Sale has been back to elite level Chris Sale so far this season and is not a pitcher I’m interested in stepping front of. The Padres got to Max Fried, but for the better part of the last couple of weeks, the Padres have not been good against lefties and I think the Braves get the job done in game two.
