Over on the Orioles’ side, they played the San Diego Padres in their last set. Baltimore lost the first pair of games before an 8-6 victory Sunday to halt the sweep. On Tuesday the Orioles would get 6.2 innings and two earned runs out of starter Corbin Burnes.
Grayson Rodriguez will take the start for the O’s on Wednesday. This year Rodriguez is 12-4 with a 3.82 ERA in 19 starts. Over 42 career starts Rodriguez is 19-8 with a 4.10 ERA.

I’ll probably stick with the O’s here, but realistically the line is way too thick to mess with. Rodriguez coughed up six earned runs in 5.0 innings during a loss to the Yankees back on July 13, but since then he’s been doing well. Rodriguez has four earned over his last 11.0 innings, going 1-0 in a pair of starts.
On Tuesday the O’s had a pretty good all-around game. The bullpen came through with 2.1 clean frames, one hit and no walks. Offensively Baltimore had 11 hits and really broke things open in the third. I like the Orioles to keep it rolling in the finale but I’m staying away.
