The Baltimore Orioles and the Boston Red Sox meet in an AL East division matchup in MLB action from Fenway Park on Tuesday night.

The Baltimore Orioles will be out to build on their 14-8 win over the Red Sox from Monday’s opener. Anthony Santander has a team-high 27 home runs and 79 RBIs. Austin Hays also has 122 hits with 32 doubles, 55 RBIs and a .249 batting average as well on the year. Cedric Mullins also has 145 hits with 30 doubles, 14 homers and 55 RBIs as well this season. Ryan Mountcastle also has 22 home runs and 80 RBIs as well this season. Kyle Bradish will start here and is 4-7 with a 4.65 ERA and 103 strikeouts this season.

The Boston Red Sox will look to bounce back from their defeat at the hands of the Orioles on Monday. Xander Bogaerts has 167 hits, a .313 batting average and 38 doubles while Rafael Devers has 155 hits with 40 doubles. Alex Verdugo has 10 home runs and 71 RBIs while Devers has a team-high 27 home runs and 85 RBIs. J.D. Martinez also has 41 doubles, a .270 batting average and 56 RBIs this year and Trevor Story has 66 RBIs as well for Boston. Michael Wacha will start here and is 11-1 with a 2.70 ERA and 97 strikeouts this season.

Baltimore is 9-2 in their last 11 Tuesday games and 5-2 in their last 7 road games while the under is 10-2-1 in their last 13 road games. Boston is 17-42 in their last 59 division games and 0-5 in their last 5 games against a team with a right-handed starter while the over is 5-1-1 in their last 7 Tuesday games.

I get the reasoning for looking either way here, but I’m strongly backing the under. Michael Wacha’s been lights out at home this season with a sub-2.00 ERA and you could make a strong case that he’s been Boston’s best pitcher this season. On the other hand, Kyle Bradish has had his ups and downs, but he sure didn’t pitch like a rookie last time up, sitting one out away from a complete game shutout of the Astros, the same Astros that are the best team in the AL. I think this one could be a bit of a pitcher’s duel, so give me the under here.
