The Blue Jays took on the Cleveland Guardians over the weekend. Toronto did poorly in that series, falling in a sweep with losses 7-1, 6-3 and 6-5. Kevin Gausman went 6.0 innings in the start with five hits and a walk.

Boston Red Sox Betting Preview
Over on the Sox’ side, they played the Cincinnati Reds in their last series. Boston lost 5-2 on Friday but came back with wins 4-3 and 7-4 to take the series in the weekend matchups. On Tuesday the Red Sox were out-hit 11-5 and had three errors. Starter Brayan Bello gave up seven in 2.1 innings.
It’ll be Kutter Crawford as starter for the Sox on Wednesday. This year Crawford is 3-7 with a 3.59 ERA in 16 starts. Crawford is 12-22 with a 4.39 ERA in 69 career games (52 starts).

I’ll lean toward the Sox. Probably not touching this one, though. Crawford has been okay recently, posting eight combined earned runs over his last three starts in 18.1 innings of work. Crawford is just 1-2 in that time, though. As for Rodriguez, he’s got nine earned runs in his last 9.0 innings total.
On Tuesday the Sox had a brief 2-0 lead in the second but that went away quickly. Boston’s pitching was rough, but there were a lot of holes on offense as well. It was an all-around ugly game. The Red Sox need a big turnaround for game three.
