In this article we will formulate a Brewers vs Dodgers prediction for this MLB game on Monday, October 13th at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this NLCS matchup.

Milwaukee Brewers Betting Preview

The Milwaukee Brewers are coming off of a 3-2 series win over the Cubs after they won game five by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. Milwaukee blew an early 1-0 lead, but they scored once in the fourth and once in the seventh to secure the win. The Brewers recorded six hits in the game and they were led by Turang, Contreras, and Vaughn, who all had one RBI in the win. Milwaukee started Megill, who pitched the first inning, while Misiorowski got the win and Uribe picked up the save.

Prior to that series, the Brewers had a bye in the Wild Card round, but finished the regular season by losing two out of three against the Reds and Padres. Milwaukee has won four of their last six games and they finished first in the NL Central standings. The Milwaukee pitching staff has a 3.35 ERA with a 1.16 WHIP and a .200 opponent batting average, while the offense has scored 22 runs with a .250 batting average and a .328 on base percentage in the postseason. Jackson Chourio has led Milwaukee with one home run and six RBIs, while William Contreras has added two home runs and three RBIs in the playoffs. The projected starting pitcher for Milwaukee is TBD.

Los Angeles Dodgers Betting Preview

The Los Angeles Dodgers are coming off of a 3-1 series win over the Phillies after they won game four by a score of 2-1 in extra innings. Los Angeles tied the game in the bottom of the eighth with a bases loaded walk and scored in the bottom of the 11th on an error to win the game. The Dodgers recorded seven hits in the game and they were led by Betts, who went 1-4 with one RBI in the win. Los Angeles started Glasnow, who allowed two hits and zero earned runs over 6.0 innings, while Vesia picked up the win in extras.

Prior to that series, the Dodgers swept the Reds in the Wild Card round by scores of 10-5 and 8-4. Brewers vs Dodgers Prediction

Los Angeles comes into this matchup with a little more rest than Milwaukee, but they will be on the road to start this series. The Dodgers weren’t great on the road in the regular season, but the Brewers were an amazing 52-29 at home. Milwaukee had one of the best pitching staffs in the MLB this year and they really need to pitch well against this dangerous LA lineup. The Dodgers are starting Snell, who has allowed two earned runs and five hits over 13.0 innings in the playoffs. Milwaukee hasn’t announced their starter, but they could use an opener like they did in game five against the Cubs. I wish I knew Milwaukee’s pitching plans, but I am going to still take them with plus money here, as they have been elite at home.
