Christian Walker has a team-high 10 home runs and 19 RBIs and Ketel Marte has a team-high 13 doubles while David Peralta has 6 doubles and Pavin Smith’s also got 27 hits and has a .225 batting average on the year. Merrill Kelly will start here and is 3-2 with a 3.27 ERA and 40 strikeouts this season.

The Chicago Cubs will look to salvage a win and bounce back from their loss to the Diamondbacks on Saturday. Willson Contreras has 31 hits and a .258 batting average while Patrick Wisdom has a team-high 8 home runs, 19 RBIs and 8 doubles on the year. Seiya Suzuki also has 19 RBIs and 11 doubles chipped in for the Cubbies up to this point in the year. Ian Happ leads the Cubs with 32 hits with a .269 batting average as well on the year. Wade Miley will start here and is 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA and 7 strikeouts this season.

I get the case to be made for Chicago at home here, but the thing is that the Diamondbacks have been the better team in the series and keep finding ways to win while I’m still not sure what to make of the Cubs with Wade Miley on the mound. He’s a solid arm, but it’s a small sample size to suggest he’s full rocking and rolling in the Windy City. I like Merrill Kelly and how the D-Backs have played as a team in this series so give me the Diamondbacks here.
