Chicago Cubs Betting Preview
Over on the Cubs’ side, they played the Philadelphia Phillies this past week. Chicago lost the first two games in that set 6-4 and 5-3 before a 10-2 win in the finale. Following their Friday win, in game two the Cubs were out-hit 12-4 in the defeat. Kyle Hendricks gave up two earned in 2.0 innings in the start on four hits and two walks.
Hayden Wesneski will take the starter role for the Cubs on Sunday. So far this season Wesneski is 2-5 with a 4.14 ERA in 22 games (five starts). During his career Wesneski is 8-12 with a 4.02 ERA in 62 games (20 starts).

I might try the Angels here. I could probably go either way, though. Both starters could use a good outing regardless. Soriano gave up four earned in 4.0 innings during a loss in his last outing versus Oakland on July 2. He was pitching well before that, though. As for Wesneski, he’s coming off a loss with five earned in 5.0 innings.
On Saturday the Angels jumped out to a big lead after just a few innings and cruised the rest of the way on a nice start from Anderson. I like LA to keep rolling Sunday.
