The San Francisco Giants will look to bounce back from a 3-2 loss to the Reds in Saturday’s matchup. Joc Pederson leads the Giants with 11 home runs and 26 RBIs while Wilmer Flores has 39 hits with 25 RBIs, 10 doubles and a .267 batting average. Thairo Estrada has 42 hits with a team-high 11 doubles and 20 RBIs as well this season. Mike Yastrzemski also has 10 doubles of his own on the year. Alex Cobb will get the start here and is 3-2 with a 6.25 ERA and 39 strikeouts this season.

The Cincinnati Reds will look to complete the sweep and take care of business in Sunday’s series finale. Tommy Pham has 35 hits with a .232 batting average while Brandon Drury has a team-high 8 home runs and 26 RBIs with 10 doubles as well. Tyler Naquin has 11 doubles and Kyle Farmer also has 11 doubles and 25 RBIs while Naquin and Colin Moran each have 22 RBIs as well this season. Tyler Stephenson also has 24 RBIs as well on the year. Tyler Mahle will get the start here and is 2-5 with a 6.32 ERA and 50 strikeouts this season.

San Francisco is 37-14 in their last 51 games as a road favorite and 12-4 in their last 16 game three matchups while the over is 19-7 in their last 26 games as a favorite. Cincinnati is 13-28 in their last 41 games overall and 15-38 in their last 53 games against the NL West while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record.

I get the reasoning for backing either side in this one, but rather than do that and have to rely on someone in this dumpster fire pitching matchup, I’m looking at the over here. Both pitchers have been subpar and the offenses have been able to step up and result in some fairly high-scoring matchups as of late. I think we have another high-scoring affair in this one and it wouldn’t surprise me if we flew over the total by the middle innings. Give me the over here.
