In this article, we will formulate a Washinton Nationals vs Colorado Rockies prediction for this MLB game on Saturday, June 22nd at Coors Field.

Nationals Offense Impressed

The Nationals offense sure impressed on Friday scoring 11 runs on the way to the victory. Lane Thomas finished with three hits and four RBIs. The Nationals are averaging 3.97 runs while their pitching is giving up 4.18 runs per game. The offense is ranked 23rd in the league while the pitching is ranked 12th.  CJ Abmas has hit 11 home runs and driven in 36 RBIs so far this season. The Nationals need to find a way to get the offense out to a fast start. Getting the start for the Nationals will be Mitchell Parker who sits with a 5-3 record and an ERA of 3.06. In his last start against the Miami Marlins, he went six innings giving up six hits and one run.

Rockies Pitching Looks to Bounce Back

The Rockies scored five runs but the pitching gave up 11 runs. Dakota Hudson went three innings giving up 11 hits and eight runs. The Rockies are averaging 4.29 runs while their pitching is giving up 5.87 runs per game. The offense is ranked 16th in the league while the pitching is ranked 30th. The offense has finally started to pick it up and they are going to need the offense to be good here. Ryan McMahon has hit 13 home runs and drive in 40 RBIs so far this season. Getting the start for the Rockies will be Cal Quantrill who sits with a 6-5 record and an ERA of 3.43. In his last start against the Dodgers, he went five innings, giving up seven hits and three runs.

Washington Nationals vs Colorado Rockies Prediction

The Nationals are going to find success here. I am a bit concerned about Parker going at Coors Field, but he is coming off a start where he gave up only one run. The Rockies bats are going to be ice cold like they have been all season, and that is going to continue here. The Nationals offense is going to find enough success off of Quantrill, and they are going to get the job done. Back the Nationals on the money line.
