Detroit Tigers vs Cleveland Guardians Prediction

I’ll stay with the Tigers. Both starters could use a good outing, though. Flaherty is coming off a loss to the Angels with five earned in 5.2 innings. In his previous two starts Flaherty went 2-0 with one earned in 10.2 frames, though. As for Howard, he’s coming off six earned in 2.2 innings versus the Dodgers.

On Wednesday the Tigers got a handful of solid offensive performances, including homers from Matt Vierling (three RBI) and Andy Ibanez. The bullpen was decent as well, with one earned in 3.0 innings. Another good all-around effort Thursday and the Tigers will be in great shape.
