Mariners vs Athletics Prediction

I’m going to side with the Mariners at home in this one. Ultimately, it boils down to not knowing which version of Osvaldo Bido we’re going to get in this game. Bido has the potential for six strong innings but could also get himself into trouble and get chased after three innings with a high pitch count. Bryce Miller’s been a lot more consistent for the Mariners, and last year, he had a ton of success against the Athletics with a lot of strikeouts and a low walk rate. I just don’t see the Athletics and sustained success being something that goes hand in hand very often this season, and I think that the Mariners get themselves another win at home in bounce-back fashion. Give me Seattle at home in this one.
