The Orioles took on the Texas Rangers over the weekend. Baltimore won the first two installments of that set 9-1 and 8-4 before falling 3-2 and failing to complete the sweep Sunday. Baltimore starter Dean Kremer put up 5.1 innings with three earned in that one.

On Tuesday the Orioles will send out Albert Suarez in the starter role. This year Suarez is 5-3 with a 2.82 ERA in 19 games (12 starts) Suarez is 8-11 in his career with a 3.87 ERA in 59 games (24 starts).

Miami Marlins vs Baltimore Orioles Prediction

I’ll probably just stick with Baltimore. Suarez does need a bounce-back effort here, though. In his last start Suarez gave up four earned in 5.0 innings during a loss to the Cubs. Prior to that he had just two earned in 12.0 innings over a pair of wins, though.

Baltimore had a pretty good series against the Rangers (outside of the offensive lull Sunday). They’ve now won three of the last four games, scoring six or more runs in the three wins. I like the O’s to thrive in this series.
