NY Yankees vs Minnesota Twins Prediction 6-5-24 Picks

The Minnesota Twins and the New York Yankees meet Wednesday in MLB action from Yankee Stadium. Here’s a NY Yankees vs Minnesota Twins Prediction. This will be the second installment in a three-game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for the game.

Minnesota Twins Betting Preview

Over the weekend the Twins took on the Houston Astros. Minnesota lost 5-2 on Saturday but managed wins in the other pair 6-1 and 4-3 during that set. On Tuesday in the opener versus the Yankees the Twins fell behind early in a 5-1 loss. Starting pitcher Bailey Ober gave up three earned in 5.0 innings on three hits and four walks.

In the starter role for the Wednesday game the Twins will send out Chris Paddack. This year Paddack is 4-2 with a 4.57 ERA and 54 Ks in 61.0 innings over 11 starts. Paddack is 26-23 with a 4.27 ERA in 79 career games (76 starts).

New York Yankees Betting Preview

Over on the Yankees’ side, they played the San Francisco Giants in their last series. New York took a sweep in that matchup with victories 6-2, 7-3 and 7-5. Matched up against the Twins on Tuesday the Yankees made the most of six team hits (and held Minnesota to just two). Luis Gil was great on 6.0 clean frames, one hit and three walks.

It’ll be Carlos Rodon in the starting pitcher role for the Yankees on Wednesday. So far this season Rodon is 7-2 with a 3.09 ERA in 12 starts. He’s got 62 Ks in 67.0 innings. Rodon is 66-56 with a 3.78 ERA in 178 career games (173 starts).

New York Yankees vs Minnesota Twins Prediction

I’ll stay with the Yankees. Rodon is rolling along quite well these days. In his last three starts Rodon is 3-0 with 18.0 innings, five earned runs, 10 hits and six walks to his credit. As for Paddack, he’s not doing too badly himself with eight earned over the last 18.2 innings. Paddack doesn’t have a decision in that time, though.

On Tuesday the Yankees didn’t really have a ton of offense overall but they got a lot out of their half-dozen hits. Giancarlo Stanton (two RBI) and Gleyber Torres each homered, and the pitching certainly helped as well. I like New York to keep it going Wednesday.
