Trends

Pittsburgh is 70-147 in their last 217 road games and 23-56 in their last 79 interleague games while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 series-opening games. Baltimore is 8-2 in their last 10 home games and 20-8 in their last 28 games overall while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record.

Pick

I think this game is all about the lesser of two evils, I trust Oviedo as a starter more than I do Bradish, but the thing for me is that the Pirates are in freefall right now after such a strong start to the season. The Orioles have had blips here and there, but for the most part, the O’s have been consistently solid from opening day onward and I think this is definitely a team to watch as we move into the middle of the season. Not a price I love to lay with Bradish, but there’s no backing the Pirates until they turn it around. Give me the O’s here.
