The Orioles aren’t a team I’m running to the window to back and Bassitt has been terrible with his 6.19 ERA and 2.13 WHIP through 16 innings. However, the Royals stink to high heaven and while Wacha has been fabulous through 27 frames, this is one of the worst teams in baseball. Bassitt makes it hard to pull the trigger in this spot, but I’ll simply lean on the better team, pinch my nose, and back the Orioles. Yuck.
