ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’m going to stay Mariners. Gilbert is on a roll over his last two starts. He’s 2-0 in that pair with just one earned on eight hits and zero walks in 16.0 combined innings. As for Gray, he was a bit shaky versus Baltimore his last time up (6.0 innings; six earned) but had a solid outing before that. On Sunday the Mariners did a nice job stopping the sweep and the pitching staff stepped up to keep Detroit in check. Still, Seattle’s offense will probably need more of a jolt if they want a Monday victory.
