The Minnesota Twins and the Seattle Mariners meet Thursday in MLB action from T-Mobile Park. This will be the finale in a four-game series. Minnesota Twins 

The Twins lost a close one 7-6 Monday but ended up winning 10-3 in game two thanks to Alex Kirilloff (3-for-4; three runs; two RBI) and Max Kepler (two RBI). On Wednesday Minnesota got a two-run homer from Kirilloff and solo homers from both Kepler and Edouard Julien in a 6-3 victory. 

For the starter job in the finale the Twins will send out Pablo Lopez. Over his 19 starts this year Lopez is 5-5 with a 4.24 ERA and 145 Ks in 116.2 innings. Lopez is 33-36 with a 3.99 ERA in 113 career games. 

Seattle Mariners 

Over on the Mariners side, they couldn’t get much going offensively on Tuesday, but Eugenio Suarez did hit a two-run homer. In game three Seattle had five hits in the loss. JP Crawford was the only team player with two hits, and Suarez had a pair of RBI. 

George Kirby will make the start for the Mariners on Thursday. This year Kirby is 8-8 with a 3.43 ERA in 18 starts. He’s got 93 strikeouts over 112.2 total innings. Kirby is 16-13 with a 3.41 ERA in 43 career starts. 

Minnesota is 49-47 against the money line this year and Seattle is 27-12 against the money line in July games over the last two seasons. Seattle is 34-35 against the money line versus right-handed starters this season. 

ANDREW’S FREE PICK 

I’ll try the Twins in this one. Lopez needs a rebound from his last start, though; he put up seven earned in 5.2 innings against Oakland back on July 15. Kirby is in the same boat with six earned in 5.0 innings versus Detroit that same day. Both pitchers were doing well before that, however. On Wednesday Minnesota had nine team hits and a pretty well-rounded offensive performance. The Twins have 22 runs so far in this series, and I like another solid total at the plate here as well.
