St. Louis is 7-19 in their last 26 road games and 7-20 in their last 27 games as an underdog while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games against the NL West. San Francisco is 8-2 in their last 10 games against the NL Central and 40-19 in their last 59 home games while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record. The Cardinals are 7-3 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams.
I get the case that could be made either way here, but I’m going to lean the way of St. Louis here. I like the Giants a lot and what they’ve done at home, but Johnny Cueto isn’t the Cueto we’ve made a profit on recently, as he’s been getting batted around more often than not and it just hasn’t made a lot of money lately when backing him. Adam Wainwright’s pitching well and the Cards got the harder win on Monday, so I’ll back the Cards for another win here.
