The Baltimore Orioles and the Texas Rangers meet Sunday in MLB action from Globe Life Field. Here’s a Texas Rangers vs Baltimore Orioles prediction. This will be the final installment in a three-game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for the game.

Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview

Last weekend the Orioles took on the rival New York Yankees. Baltimore lost the first pair of games in that set before a 6-5 win Sunday to halt the sweep. After a 9-1 blowout win over the Rangers on Friday, in game two the O’s posted an 8-4 victory to keep it going.

As starter for Sunday’s finale it’ll be Dean Kremer. This year so far Kremer is 4-5 with a 4.38 ERA in 12 starts. Kremer is 26-25 with a 4.35 ERA in 83 career games (82 starts).

Over on the Rangers’ side, their last series came versus the Houston Astros. Texas lost 6-3 in the opener of that set, but then came back for wins 2-1 and 4-2 in the weekend games. On Saturday the Rangers were out-hit 12-6 in the loss.

Andrew Heaney will take the mound for the start on Sunday. This year Heaney is 3-10 with a 3.79 ERA in 19 games (18 starts). Heaney is 49-58 with a 4.42 ERA in 190 games (172 starts) in his career.

Texas Rangers vs Baltimore Orioles Prediction

I might take a stab on the Rangers in this one. Heaney is on a pretty good run over his last three starts, even though he’s a tepid 1-1 in the record column. In that trio Heaney has four earned runs in 17.1 innings total on 13 hits and four walks. As for Kremer, he’s given up seven earned in his last 8.2 innings.

On Saturday the Rangers fell behind quickly and didn’t have much chance at a comeback. If Heaney can get a quality start Sunday, Texas will be in good shape if the bats wake up.
