Zak Cummings enters this fight with a 18-4 record and has won 50 percent of his fights by submission. Cummings has won five of his last six fights and is coming off a July win over Dominique Steele. Cummings is averaging 1.89 significant strikes per minute with an accuracy percentage of 32.5 percent. Cummings is averaging two takedowns with an accuracy percentage of 50 percent. Cummings has established himself on the UFC level, as he’s won at least four fights in all three categories. Cummings is a balanced fighter with knockout striking power and is defending 72.7 percent of his opponent's takedowns. The concern with Cummings is that he’s not an accurate striker and has subpar defense. This will be Cummings’ first fight in Croatia.
This should be a solid fight between two guys who have proven themselves. Both guys are balanced and can win standing up or on the canvas. However, Dalby has the advantage on the canvas and has proven he’s as tough as nails. I’m also concerned with Cummings and his inconsistencies in the striking area.
So, while this fight could go either way, I’m going to side with Dalby to get the victory.
