McCrory is also a consistent takedown artist who can finish fights on the canvas. This will be McCrory’s first fight in Canada.
USA TODAY Sports
Krzysztof Jotko enters this fight with a 17-1 record and has won 65 percent of his fights by decision. Jotko has won his last three fights and is coming off a February win over Brad Scott. Jotko is averaging 2.9 significant strikes per minute with an accuracy percentage of 46.1 percent. Jotko is averaging 1.29 takedowns with an accuracy percentage of 40 percent. Jotko has become the decision king, as he hasn’t been able to finish a fight since his submission victory over Fabian Loewke in 2012. Jotko is an impressive defender who is tough to takedown and does a fine job of countering. However, Jotko has to be more aggressive on the offensive end in order to prevent these close fights that are tough to judge. This will be Jotko’s first fight in Canada.
Jotko has been very consistent, but he’s probably going to struggle with McCrory’s balanced attack. It’s also tough to bet against McCrory with the way he’s looked since returning to the octagon. He’s clearly focused on a mission.
I like McCrory to get the job done here.
