Josh Samman enters this fight with a 12-4 record and has won 67 percent of his fights by knockout. Samman has won six of his last eight fights and is coming off a December loss to Tamdan McCrory. Samman is averaging 2.13 significant strikes per minute with an accuracy percentage of 55.6 percent. Samman is averaging 1.39 takedowns with an accuracy percentage of 50 percent. Samman is coming off a tough loss, but has been rather consistent throughout his MMA career and is a tough matchup for most. Samman has an impressive reach of 79 inches and has won five of his last eight fights by knockout. Samman has shown he knows his way around the canvas, but he’s most effective when he can use his legs and striking ability. This will be Samman’s first fight in South Dakota.
I’m not sure how anybody can pick Boetsch to win a fight given what we’ve seen from him his last several fights. The dude is in horrible form. Samman has been very consistent, is younger and his striking ability and athleticism should help produce another victory.
Anqa wins this fight.
