Italian MMA superstar Alessio Sakara will be in action at Bellator 203. This will be a big occasion for the former boxer as he will have a chance to perform in front of his home crown in Rome, Italy. Sakara will be facing English fighter, Jamie Sloane in a fight in the light heavyweight category.
Jamie Sloane, standing at 5ft 10in, will be the shorter of the two fighters. That being said, he is expected to be the heavier fighter. This sets up an interesting dynamic since the Englishman is expected to be able to hit harder punches, although at a suboptimal angle. Sloane will enter this fight with a record of 8 wins and 4 losses. This is not a great record to have and Jamie Sloane will be desperate to improve it by winning this fight. For Sloane to do well, he must shut out the crowd who will be against him since he is fighting an Italian fighter.

On the other side of the coin, Alessio Sakara will want to put up a show for his home crowd. The Italian was released from the UFC in 2013 and Bellator seems to be his second chance in the industry. The Italian lost his title fight last time he competed and will be desperate to get some more wins so he can have another shot at the title. This is a fight that Alessio Sakara will expect to win since he is a much more talented fighter than his opposition. There will be a lot of expectations on him since the fight is in Italy and if he can handle the pressure, he should be good enough to beat Jamie Sloane and get a win on his record.
All in all, I am expecting that Alessio Sakara wins this fight. He is the better fighter and at home, he should win with the support of the crowd. As far as betting is concerned, we are getting a decent price to wager on Alessio Sakara winning so this seems like the best option. Expect this fight to end via knockout since most fights in this weight category end in that fashion.
