Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Truck Series Picks, Odds, and Predictions 11/6/20

We head to Arizona on Friday for the Lucas Oil 150 in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, the last race of the season.

Here are five drivers to consider throwing on Friday’s race card.

Stewart Friesen, +2000 – Stewart Friesen has been hit or miss all season and hasn’t won a race yet this year, but he’s been in his best form with top-10 finishes in seven of his last 10 races. Friesen is also no stranger to success at the Phoenix Raceway, which includes top-10 finishes in three of his four trips, and he won this event last year. In his last three Phoenix trips, Friesen is averaging a finish of fourth place. There’s value to these odds.

Brett Moffitt, +400 – Brett Moffitt still has a shot at bringing home a championship, and he’s finished seventh or better in five of his last seven races. Moffitt should like his chances of staying hot, as he has top-10 finishes in both of his Phoenix Raceway appearances, and that includes a victory in the 2018 Lucas Oil 150. I’d throw something on Moffitt, a guy with proven success at this track, before backing the favorite in Sheldon Creed.

Grant Enfinger, +800 – Grant Enfinger is coming off a win in Virginia and has finished sixth or better in six of his last eight races. Enfinger now has four wins on the season and has positioned himself for a possible championship within the final four. In his last two trips at the Phoenix Raceway, Enfinger is averaging a finish of 4.5. Seeing a bunch of drivers ahead of Enfinger in terms of odds is certainly a bit of a head scratcher.

Matt Crafton, +1200 – Few have the experience at this track like Matt Crafton, who made his Phoenix Raceway debut back in 2001 and has 12 career top-10 finishes since. Crafton has also quietly been one of the better drivers over the last couple of months, stringing together seven straight top-10 finishes, which includes a runner-up spot in the ToyotaCare 250. Yes, Crafton has only won one race over the last three years, but his experience and his current form makes these odds intriguing.

Zane Smith, +450 – Zane Smith will make his Truck Series Phoenix debut here, but he did have a fifth place finish in the 2019 Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 200. Smith has been highly impressive in his rookie season and has a chance at a championship. Smith has put together back-to-back third place finishes, his best stretch since winning Michigan and Dover within a three week span. At this point, you should put nothing past the 21-year-old from California.
