The Indiana Pacers look to stayed as the only undefeated team in the league when they take on the Chicago Bulls tonight.
Things could not have gone much better for the Pacers to start the season as they head into tonight off a 99-91 win over the Pistons to improve to a record of 4-0. It wasn't exactly a perfect performance from the Pacers as they had to endure a terrible second quarter where they scored just nine points, but were able to make up for it with with 61 points in the second half to keep the perfect start alive. Paul George led the team with 31 points and 10 rebounds, David West added 12 points and Roy Hibbert had eight points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks.

Meanwhile, the Bulls have won one game so far and will be looking to avoid a third straight road loss after falling to the surprising Sixers last Saturday night. Behind a quick start from Carlos Boozer who finished with 22 points and Luol Deng who had 20, the Bulls shot out to a 64-49 lead at halftime but just couldn't keep it going in the second, eventually getting run down by 107-104 to drop to 1-2 on the season. Derrick Rose continued his slow start to the season, tallying just 13 points on four of 14 shooting with eight turnovers and it's really dragging the Bulls down. However, it's still early in the season and I'm sure we're all just happy to see him fit and on the court.
In ATS trends, the Bulls are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall, while the Pacers are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games overall and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 home games.
Head to head, the Bulls are 14-6 against the Pacers with D-Rose and 4-5 at Indiana.
I have to admit that I expected Rose to start the season a little slowly, but other than his game-winner at New York, he's been downright rusty and it's really hurting the Bulls at the moment. Meanwhile, the Pacers are enjoying a perfect start to the season and should be too good for the Bulls at home tonight.
