The Orlando Magic will be up against it tonight when they take on Chris Paul and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Other than a hiccup against the Lakers in the season opener, the Clippers have been the best offensive team in the league and it was the Rockets who were the latest victims of their scoring prowess. Chris Paul led the team with 23 points and 17 assists, while JJ Redick scored a game-high 26 points in just 28 minutes to catapult the Clippers to 78 first-half points. With the luxury of a healthy lead, Jamal Crawford had the freedom to express himself and he did that with six treys on his way to 21 points off the bench. The only real issue with LA's game has been their poor defense which has allowed 112.5 ppg which is dead last in the league.

Meanwhile, the Magic were able to bounce back from consecutive losses to start the season with consecutive wins after beating the Nets by 107-86 on Sunday. Nikola Vucevic had a solid double double of 19 points and 12 rebounds, Arron Afflalo added 16 points and eight assists and Victor Oladipo tallied 19 points on eight of 13 shooting off the bench. No one is really expecting much from the Magic this season, but so far they've been quite good, playing the Pacers and Timberwolves tough and scoring more than 100 points in three straight games. With the win, Orlando improved to 2-2 on the season and 2-0 at home.
In ATS trends, the Clippers are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games against a team with a winning home record and 1-5 ATS in their last six road games, while the Magic are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last six games against Western Conference opponents.
Head to head, the favorite is 19-3-2 in the last 24 meetings but the Clippers are just 2-9-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings.
At first glance, you would think this would be a typical double digit victory for the red hot Clippers, but the Magic have been playing better than people give them credit for so I'd be a little cautious about this game. However, I really like a play on the Over in this game because with the way these two have been lighting up the scoreboards, you'd expect both teams to finish with more than 100 points easily.
