The Orlando Magic go for their fourth straight win tonight when they welcome the Boston Celtics to town.
With wins over the Pelicans, Nets and now the Clippers, the Magic have quietly been one of the surprise packages of the season so far. Nikola Vucevic led the way for the Magic on Wednesday, pouring in 30 points and 21 rebounds while Jameer Nelson, Arron Afflalo and Victor Oladipo added 11 points apiece, but this game was all about shutting down a team that was averaging 119 points to just 90. Orlando are going to need that impressive defense once again as they gave up an average of 111.0 points in the three meetings against the Celtics last season, but that was back in the Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett era.

Meanwhile, the Celtics were able to avoid a fifth straight loss on Wednesday when they cruised past the Jazz by 97-87 thanks to some stellar defense which restricted Utah to just eight points in the second quarter. Brandon Bass scored 20 points and Jeff Green added 18 to lead Boston to its first win of the season which handed Brad Stevens his long awaited first victory as coach, but it's hard to get too excited with the win because it was against the winless Jazz who are still struggling with their new roster.
The Celtics are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a win and 1-4 ATS in their last five Friday games, while the Magic are 5-0 ATS in their last five games overalll and 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the Celtics are 6-1-1 ATS in the last eight meetings and 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings in Orlando.
I'm sure the Celtics will be so relieved now that they've registered their first win of the season but a win against the Jazz really isn't anything to get excited about. On the other hand, the Magic have been surprisingly good in their last three wins and extra special in their ATS record, a perfect 5-0 on the season, so I'm definitely going with Orlando at home to win and cover here.
