The Indiana Pacers look to stay undefeated tonight when they play host to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Believe it or not, the perfect Pacers remain undefeated so far this season after taking down the Nets by 96-91 on Saturday. Paul George led the way with 24 points on eight of 14 shooting, but as has been the case all season, he received plenty of help in the form of 18 points from David West and 15 points apiece from Roy Hibbert and Lance Stephenson. No one really predicted Indiana to get off to such a historical start, but coach Vogel said that the team made winning the East their priority after they lost Game 7 of the East finals on the road in Miami and they couldn't have started better.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies have been pretty inconsistent to start the season but they're coming off a dominant 108-90 victory against the Warriors thanks to a tried and tested formula, pound the ball inside and trust your defense. Zach Randolph led the team with a double double of 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Mike Conley added 20 points on nine of 11 shooting. On the defensive end, the Grizzlies kept the trigger happy Warriors to just 42.3 percent shooting, including Klay Thompson to just 12 points. With the win, Memphis improved to a modest 3-3 on the season but they have yet to win a game on the road so far.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 4-1-1 ATS in the last six games following a double digit win and 1-7 ATS in the last eight games overall, while the Pacers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 home games.
Head to head, Indiana has won 13 of 16 meetings at home but its the Grizzlies who are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall.
The Pacers have been seriously impressive so far this season and with wins over the likes of Chicago and Brooklyn, it's not like they've had an easy road so far. However, I really liked how the Grizzlies played in their last win and I think they have the right formula to trouble the Pacers here. It's going to be a tough battle in the paint tonight and I think the visitors have enough to keep this game within a couple of possessions. I'm taking Memphis with the points here.
