The Miami Heat look to continue their dominance over the Charlotte Bobcats when they meet tonight.
The Heat have won five of their last six and will be going for their third straight tonight after taking down the Mavericks by 110-104 last night. LeBron James was as efficient as ever, pouring in 39 points on 14 of 18 shooting while Dwyane Wade added 17 points, eight assists and a career-high eight steals. Miami were again without Udonis Haslem and Ray Allen last night and will probably be without Wade tonight. With the win, Miami improved to 6-3 on the season overall and 5-1 at home.

On the other hand, the Bobcats could be without Al Jefferson who had sat out last night's 86-80 win over the Cavs after positing 22 points and 11 rebounds in the Wednesday win over the Celtics. Behind 16 points from Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, the Bobcats overcame a slow start to the game with a strong fourth quarter to sneak their way past the struggling Cavs. The win elevates Charlotte to 5-4 on the season and 3-2 on the road so far.
In ATS trends, the Heat are 2-6 ATS in their last eight road games and 2-12 ATS in their last 14 games following a win, while the Bobcats are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 home games.
Head to head, Miami has won the last 12 meetings and are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Charlotte.
The Bobcats have never had much success against the Heat but tonight presents a unique chance to snag one back. Jefferson would have dominate the Heat in the paint but with him absent, I'll be taking the Heat who have proved that they can win without Wade.
