The Minnesota Timberwolves look to pick up a second straight win tonight when they pay a visit to the Washington Wizards.
The Timberwolves have been one of the most exciting teams to watch this season and all it took for them to succeed was to stay healthy. In the 106-88 win against the Celtics, Kevin Love led the way with 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Nikola Pekovic and Kevin Martin added 20 points apiece. JJ Barea had a relatively quiet night of just 13 points off the bench after scoring 21 points the previous night against the Nuggets. With the win, Minnesota improved to 7-4 on the season overall and 5-1 at home.

Meanwhile, the Wizards will be looking to avoid a fifth straight loss after falling to the Cavaliers by 103-96 in overtime on Saturday. Bradley Beal led the team with 28 points, while Nene Hilario added 24 points on nine of 16 shooting, but John Wall finished with just nine points on three of 13 shooting with 12 assists. The Wizards already have seven losses on the season, but this one really hurt as they were ahead by as many as 15 points early, before the Cavs' Kyrie Irving led the comeback. Washington is now 2-7 on the season and 1-2 at home.
In ATS trends, the Wolves are 8-3 ATS this season and 5-0 ATS against teams with a losing home record, while the Wizards are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a loss and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Wolves are 4-10 ATS in the last 14 meetings overall and 1-7 ATS in the last eight meetings in Washington.
If you've been picking the Wolves this season, you have to be pretty happy because as I mentioned earlier, they are 8-3 ATS heading into this game. Against the Wizards they haven't been faring as well ATS, but I think that will change tonight as the Wolves should win this by single digits.
