The Memphis Grizzlies head to the Oracle Arena on Wednesday to face the Golden State Warriors.
The Golden State Warriors are sitting at 8-3 this season, while playing a perfect 5-0 at home on the year. The Warriors, as expected, have a top flight offense, but the defense is stout for them as well, allowing just 96.3 points per game so far on the season, ranking the Warriors fifth in the league in scoring defense. The Warriors are also one of the better rebounding teams in the league, grabbing an average of 43.5 boards per game. Golden State is on a tear right now, winners of four out of their last five, with their only loss in that stretch coming against these Memphis Grizzlies, losing on the road to Memphis 108-90 back on November ninth.

The Memphis Grizzlies are just barely in the black this season, as the Grizzlies are sitting at 6-5 on the year. Memphis is solid at home, but on the road, the Grizzlies are right at the breakeven point, going 3-3 so far this year. The Grizzlies, like the Warriors are very solid defensively, although Memphis is lacking on the offensive side of things. The Grizzlies are allowing a solid 97.2 points per game on the season, but the offense has struggled, scoring just 95.4 on the year. The Grizzlies have had a brutal road stretch here, but they’ve handled it like Champs, going 3-0 in this four game road stretch so far, beating the Lakers, the Kings and the Clippers on Monday.
The Memphis Grizzlies are getting wins this season, but Memphis is not cashing at the ticket window, going just 3-7 against the spread so far. The Grizzlies are also struggling against the line on the road, going 2-3 ATS in games this year.
The Golden State Warriors are a decent 6-4 against the spread on the season, and when playing at home, the Warriors are 2-2 ATS. Also, when coming off a win by 10+ points, the Warriors are 4-2 against the spread.
Tough call here, and definitely not my favorite play of the day, but I’m going to back the Warriors in this spot. Golden State is playing extremely well on their home court this season, and you know that the Warriors want a win against the Grizzlies after losing in Memphis earlier this month.
