The Phoenix Suns head to Charlotte on Friday to square off against the Bobcats.
The Charlotte Bobcats are sitting at 6-6 on the season, and when playing at home, the Bobcats have a record of 3-3 this season. Charlotte fans have to be loving this as the Bobcats are starting to be relevant in the NBA. Charlotte is earning their wins by having one of the best defenses in the league, holding opponents to just 92.8 points per game on average. The Bobcats come into Friday’s meeting with the Suns, going 2-2 in their last four games, with their last outing resulting in a win over the Nets on Wednesday in Charlotte.

The Phoenix Suns are currently just below the .500 mark this season as the Suns are 5-6 on the year. Phoenix is playing decent all around, having the 11th ranked scoring defense in the league, while also having the 14th ranked scoring offense, putting up an average of 99.9 points per game. The Suns have cooled off as of late however, dropping four in a row. Phoenix’s last loss came on Wednesday, when the Suns fell to the Kings at home in Phoenix.
The Phoenix Suns are cashing in for bettors this season as the Suns are a very solid 8-2 against the spread this season. Phoenix is also a perfect 5-0 against the number when playing on the road this year. Also, when coming off a game where the Suns have scored 150 points or more, Phoenix is 1-0 ATS.
The Charlotte Bobcats are also cashing in this season, as the Bobcats are 7-4 against the spread this season. Charlotte has also been solid on Friday night games, going 2-1 this year. When playing at home, the Charlotte Bobcats are 3-3 ATS on the season.
Not seeing a ton of value with either side here, but having to choose I'll take the Suns. Charlotte looks beter on paper right now, but the Bobcats have played one of the weaker schedules in the league. Phoenix is the better team here, not by much mind you, but still, getting nearly three poitns against the Bobcats here looks like the side to be on.
