NBA Daily Updates 11/22: Faried Doubles Up, Tonight's TV Schedule and More
November 22, 2013
The NBA was pretty quiet last night, with just two matchups on the schedule. The weekend action will kick into high gear this evening, however, with a full 22 teams taking to the court. While we’re waiting on the tip-offs, let’s take a closer look at some of the noteworthy names out there across the league. Here’s the latest.
Kenneth Faried, PF, Denver Nuggets: Now that the trade talks surrounding Faried have died down, his game remains as sharp as ever. It was on full display last night during a 97-87 victory over the Bulls, during which Faried posted 12 points and 11 rebounds. It was his fifth double-double of the year and his fourth in the last six games.
Denver (5-6) has won four of their last six games after a 1-4 start to the season. Next up, they’ll host the incoming Mavericks tomorrow night in the first game of a home-and-home set.

Kevin Durant, SF, Oklahoma City Thunder: Durant’s line from last night wasn’t quite as impressive as it was Monday against the Nuggets, but it was still pretty nice. He notched 28 points, six rebounds and eight assists in the Thunder’s 105-91 victory over the Clippers, which was his ninth straight game with at least 20 points.
Let’s take a look at the 8-3 Thunder’s upcoming schedule. They’ve got three wins in a row under their collective belt, and they’ll try to make it four on Sunday against Utah. That’ll be the third installment of their six-game home-stand, and they’ll host the Spurs, Warriors and Timberwolves before hitting the road again.
Current NBA Leaders: As we head into an active weekend of basketball, let’s stop for a moment and take a look at some of the league’s leaders in the key statistical categories. These rankings are sure to change many times over the course of the season, but here’s an idea of the current trends emerging so far.
