The Chicago Bulls look to win yet another game without Derrick Rose when they travel to LA to take on the Clippers tonight.
We were all holding our breaths when we saw Derrick Rose wincing in pain on Friday night and the news couldn't be worse for the Bulls as they will have to learn to play without him yet again. Against the Blazers, Rose had himself a team-high 20 points before leaving the game, while Carlos Boozer had 16 points, but the Bulls just didn't have enough weapons to get past one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment. The loss of Rose is massive but the Bulls will have to regroup quickly if they want to avoid losing a third straight game.

Meanwhile, the Clippers have lost six of their last eight including a 103-102 victory last night against the Kings. Once again, it was Chris Paul who carried the team down the stretch, tallying 22 points and nine assists, while DeAndre Jordan had 17 points and 12 rebounds. In fact, the Clippers had all their starters finish in double digits in scoring, but they won't be happy with their defense as they allowed an early 20-point lead disappear when DeMarcus Cousins got hot. With the win, LA improves to 9-5 on the season and 6-1 at home.
In ATS trends, the Bulls are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five games against Western Conference opponents, while the Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a win.
Head to head, the Bulls are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings but the road team is 5-1 ATS in the last six.
To say that the loss of D-Rose is massive would be an understatement because the Bulls have already been doing it tough without Jimmy Butler, but I actually think that this will fuel the Bulls for at least a couple of games. I know all signs point to a big win for the Clippers at home, but I actually think the Bulls will rise to the challenge and make this game interesting.
