The Utah Jazz play host to the Chicago Bulls at the Vivint Arena on Monday night.

The Chicago Bulls have been in a rut as they’ve lost five of their last seven games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after falling just short to the Thunder in a 123-119 overtime road loss on Friday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 30 points and six assists, Zach LaVine added 27 points with five assists while Nikola Vucevic tallied 13 points with 13 rebounds. As a team, the Bulls shot just 43 percent from the field and 12 of 33 from the 3-point line as they fought hard to rally back from a 10-point fourth quarter deficit to extend the game, only to fall short in overtime where they managed just nine points.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been in poor form as they’ve lost seven of their last nine games and they will be hoping to snap a four-game slide after falling just short to the Suns in a 113-112 road loss on Saturday. Jordan Clarkson led the team with 22 points and five assists, Collin Sexton added 20 points with five assists while Lauri Markkanen chipped in with 15 points and 10 rebounds. As a team, the Jazz shot 50 percent from the field and 13 of 32 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Suns in a really close contest, before leaking 35 points in the fourth quarter to come up painfully short in the end. Defensively, the Jazz did a decent job on the Suns, but they had no answer for DeAndre Ayton who poured in a season-high 29 points and 21 rebounds.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bulls are 9-19 ATS in their last 28 games following a loss and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall. The Jazz are 10-24-2 ATS in their last 36 games following a loss and 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 home games against a team with a losing road record.

Head to head, the under is 21-8-1 in the last 30 meetings overall and the under is 10-3-1 in the last 14 meetings in Utah.

The Bulls haven’t been able to build any momentum lately and their confidence took another hit after falling just short to the struggling Thunder in their last outing, while the Jazz are coming into this one riding a four-game losing streak and they will again be without Mike Conley who is still injured. You couldn’t back either team with much confidence at the moment, but the Bulls haven’t played since their overtime loss on Friday, so I like them to pull off the minor upset against a stumbling Jazz outfit.
