The Orlando Magic look to break out of their slump tonight when they take on the Atlanta Hawks.

The Magic have lost seven of their last eight and will be hoping to avoid a fifth straight loss tonight after falling to the Suns by 104-96 on Sunday. Nikola Vucevic led with a double double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Andrew Nicholson added 19 points off the bench, but the Magic fell behind by double digits early and were playing from behind for the entire game. Orlando will obviously be disappointed with the loss, but they did play the Heat the previous night and would have won if not for a clutch jumper by LeBron James.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have won four of their last six but are actually coming off a disappointing 94-87 loss against the struggling Celtics. Al Horford had a solid 18 points and seven rebounds, while Jeff Teague added 13 points and 10 assists, but the Hawks fell in the tight game when they went ice-cold in the fourth quarter, getting outscored by 30-13. On major problem was their lack of aggressiveness on offense which resulted in just 12 trips to the charity stripe to the Celtics' 32 and another issue was Teague's three for 15 shooting from the field.

In ATS trends, the Magic are 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a loss and 1-7 ATS in their last eight games overall, while the Hawks are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a loss.

Head to head, the Magic are 3-15 ATS in the last 18 meetings overall and 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings in Atlanta.

While the Magic are still losing games, they have actually been playing a little better and should only improve with the new additions to the rotations. However, the Hawks have been decent at home so far and dominant against the Magic so I'm expecting more of the same tonight.
