The Washington Wizards head to Milwaukee on Wednesday to face off against the struggling Milwaukee Bucks.
The Milwaukee Bucks are just 2-11 this season, while going just 1-5 overall at home. The Bucks just can’t seem to catch a break lately as Milwaukee has dropped nine straight heading into their meeting with the Wizards on Wednesday. Milwaukee, as you can probably expect, is ranked near the bottom of the league in nearly every major statistical category this season. In their last outing, the Bucks fell to the Pistons 113-94on Tuesday. Leading the Bucks against the Pistons was Henson off the bench, who finished the night with 15 points.

The Washington Wizards are just below the .500 mark on the year as the Wizards are sitting at 6-8 this season currently. Washington is improved this season for sure, but still this team is missing a piece or two, if they expect to seriously contend anytime in the near future. The Wizards have earned back to back wins heading into this meeting with the Bucks, as Washington defeated the Knicks on Saturday, and then went up against the Lakers on Tuesday night, defeating Los Angeles 116-111 on Washington’s home court.
The Washington Wizards are 7-6 against the spread this season, and when the Wizards are the favorite, Washington is 2-2 against the spread on the year. Washington is 2-2 against the spread this season on the road, and when the Wizards are up against at team with a losing record, Washington is 3-2 against the spread this season.
The Milwaukee Bucks are just 4-9 against the spread on the year, going just 1-5 against the spread at home this season. The Bucks are also 0-6 against the spread when Milwaukee is coming off of three consecutive losses. When the Bucks are playing against teams allowing 99+ points per game on the year, the Bucks are 1-6 ATS.
I have to take the Bucks here. I still believe that the Bucks are better than they have played so far, and this is a tough spot for the Wizards. Washington is coming off a solid win against the Lakers, and now has to travel to Milwaukee with no rest. This is the perfect spot for a letdown game, and even though it’s hard to put any kind of real faith in this Bucks team, Milwaukee looks like the right side here.
